"The Parador of Mazagon is a building a few kilometers away from the town centre, with a private access to the public beach. Like most paradores, the decoration may look a bit dated, but the quality of the service, the fantastic food and specially its friendly and helpful staff really go the extra mile. Plus, the swimming

terrace and its views from the sea are simply fantastic. The beach is great, but beware the long stairs up on the way back."

"Perfect little vacation, nothing to complain about! The hotel was clean and the room was just as in the pictures. Service was good, some of the staff spoke good english some not so much. The

area was nice and there were plenty of sunbeds to choose from. Our package included breakfast and dinner, and the food was actually really tasty ( beeing a buffet). The drinks werr not included, but they were not that expensive. "

"Great for a family vacation. It was lively but a bit too loud if you are looking for quiet relaxation. Otherwise the rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. "

"Really nice and relaxing place to stay, i don’t play golf but I found the golf course fascinating and massive. I feel that water should be given during meals rather than making us to buy water at every meal time, also only one complimentary water was given on our arrival and no more afterwards. The spa was sooo nice, the staff are lovely, the reception staff really helped us a lot to secure an outing. The hotel is one hour 15 mins from faro airport "

"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

"The room was large and comfortable. The kitchen was a big plus. The

area was great for adults and kids. The hotel itself is due for some updates and care. Equipment in need of an update so there really is not much of a gym."
