The staff are friendly. Free breakfast is always a good perk. There was a little snafu that happened; a man walked into our room while we were there and later our key card didnā€™t work so Iā€™m assuming they had given our room to somebody else but I guess it was corrected because no issues after that. The room was clean but there were stains on the towels. They should replace and upgrade the towels. We were thankful that we could bring our two small dogs with us for a fee. I stayed here about a month ago and wanted to stay here on a return trip. It is a great location for everything.

Room was usual to their standards (we have stayed here often within last 10 years). Quality of amenities has declined. No kleenex in room, outdated food in complimentary breakfast, much less variety. Water was off one morning, but that wasn't their fault, but meant no coffee, etc. Just not up to the standards of the past. Prices reasonable and rooms good.

Quaint, clean, comfortable

Other than not being able to check in even a minute early, it was a great experience. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was also remarkably quiet, as you know hotels can sometimes not be the greatest when it comes to other guests.

Staff needs to be more attentive. But were responsive to solve problems. Nice property, good beds and pillows, a/c was quiet and worked well enough. Shower head worked fine. The pool was very enjoyable, well maintained with nice landscaping. Lots of palm trees. The parking lot was very well lit, at night Felt safe. TV worked pretty good. Breakfast was okay. Just cereal and waffles, with some yogurt, muffins and some toast. But for the price, I had a nice stay.

Always have a terrific time staying at the Captains Quarters. The rooms are alwasy kept clean and is close enough to all the restraunts in town for the family to walk too uf we feel like it. We will be back year after year.
