It was a WOW coming in to the island on the bargka boat. We were initially picked up at a wee dock in the countryside and rode down the mangrove lined river before entering the ocean. Food was great, room was lovely and staff were very attentive. We were here during the US/Iran war so it was very quiet. We had a palapa and beach chairs to ourselves. Chance to snorkel, kayak and paddle board. Pool was nice although the water was warm from the sun. The bats were so cool, seeing them all sleep in the trees and then leave at sundown. They had a baby bat which we could see every day. The morning hike to see the sunrise was stunning. Highly recommend spending some time here.

Amazing private island with beautiful sunset views. Stayed in beachfront cottage with an incredibly comfortable California King bed, large closet space with a beautiful porch for sunsets. Location and scenery beautiful. Staff very friendly and always wanting to help. Food very expensive and not great - we found the Philippino restaurant better than the other one available. We were charged £12 for 3 scoops of ice cream - you don’t get charged that much in London tourist spots!! Everything shuts down by 10pm. We only stayed 2 nights and that was enough to appreciate the location but long enough to move on.

This property was amazing!!! The staff are SUPER FRIENDLY and always greeted you with a smile 😃 The beach and the water was sooo pristine! You can see everything in that beautiful clear ocean water! It was also great that they had kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling gear available to use with out additional costs. Lastly the sunset at Discovery Coron was unreal especially when the fruit bats started to migrate to other islands during sunset! All the guest at the Discovery Coron came out to watch the most beautiful sunset as well as the bat. Thank you Discovery Coron for such a wonderful and most memorable experience/stay!! My husband and I will definitely come back!!

We had an amazing vacation here at Club Paradise. Nice and spacious room. Comfy beds. Everyday refill of our condiments. Super clean. And most specially, all crews are so nice, polite and helpful. I want to thank Kuya Carding our tour guide who makes our island hopping escapade and snorkeling fun and adventurous. He dives for us to take videos of tortoises and school of jack fish! Look for CARDING for your guide he’s awesome!

Food was below average but Natural beauty was wow!

Very friendly and kind staff, everyone was eager to please I must say. But for American standards, it’s exhausting to get to as the property is located in an island outside of the main island of Coron where the airport is. Its about 20 minute car ride from airport to dock where the boat waits for you, and another 30 minutes to the property by boat. The car ride to the dock is a bit depressing going through very impoverished neighborhoods and dirt roads(I got motion sick from the car ride very bumpy roads). The food all over the philippines has been disappointing to American standards. I ate eggs and fruit for breakfast, and chicken caesar salad for lunch and dinner with fruit smoothies everywhere I went in the country. The excursions through nearby islands were great as the natural beauty of the philippines is unmatched( I have been to 40 countries) never seen anything as beautiful as what I saw. My advice is don’t have high expectations for food or service, focus on the natural beauty of the landscape and your beautiful vacation photos and you’ll be fine. Looking to the bright side eating the way I did forced me to be healthy and I lost body fat in the Philippines… when life feeds you lemons make lemonade ! Ha! Hope this helps.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the resort. The main positives are the amazing location, spectacular beach and the polite and courteous staff. We stayed in the sunset villa - they look dated from outside but are clean and comfortable inside. The bed was huge and pillows were some of the bed I have ever had. The bathrooms are modern and stocked with all the amenities. The complimentary water bottles, daily snack, reef friendly sun screen and insect repellents are a great touch. However, there are a couple of things that let the resort down for me. The food is average, though there are vegetarian options albeit limited. When we arrived, we were told that day trips organised by the resort could be booked up to 4pm the following day. We went early in the afternoon to book one of the island hopping trips for the following day and were told that no boats were available. Sadly we didn’t have the option to do it the following day as we were due to depart that day. So we basically ended up spending our 3 days just on the island and I think that is the main downside. If you want to do the Coron tour A, you need to get a boat to Busuanga island, get a van to Coron town and then do the tour A circuit. So if you want to see Coron, you are better off staying elsewhere. Oh and offering just 4 capsules of coffee is a bit miserly.
