"Check in was so quick and the people were so kind! We were able to learn about local activities and dining! The room was spacious and had everything we ended. Far enough from town for beautiful scenery but close enough that everything was a 10min drive or less. Incredible stay!"
"Very clean and beautiful rooms. Also beautiful restaurant, fantastic when I paid for add-on breakfast - best breakfasts of whole NZ trip. They do not provide clean bed sheets daily fyi. The dinners were also fantastic and the view from the rooms was fantastic. Difficult if you have any sort of knee or ankle issue - lots of very steep uphill, lots of stairs. Resort is at the edge of a cute suburb, rather than totally isolated as the pictures imply. Some of the most friendly staff I have ever...
"The hotel was so clean, cozy, and inviting. The ocean is right across the street, offering incredible views and beach access. The location was outside of the commercial center, but still so close it was walkable. Finally, the proprietors were very helpful and pleasant. We will most certainly be back."
"Great location and very clean, friendly staff, and room was great with kitchenette and even a washer dryer (not that we needed these things this trip). The only issues we had was the bed was to firm for my liking and no top sheet, and only 1 comfortable chair in the room means one of you have to either sit on the bed or at the dinning table."

Stay here if you want to be locked outside waiting for someone to answer the phone to even check in. We left an item behind so we sent a postage bag for it to be sent back. We sent emails, used the contact us feature on their website, called multiple times and got hung up on. The staff are so rude, give useless excuses and and lie to the guests."
