"Room was basic but clean and orderly. The beds were a bit hard but good enough for a nights sleep. Lights in the room operated on a timer rather than a switch, not sure why you can’t turn them on and off with a switch to save power, but that seems like a YHA quirk rather than the hostel itself. Staff were friendly and engaging, and facilities were good to make breakfast. There are no towels or soap so make sure to bring basic supplies for as long as your there. overall had a great stay."

"We enjoyed our time in Conwy and at the Castle Apartment very much. The facility was clean and stocked with everything we required for our stay of three days. However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. We were within a short walk of the Castle, the city walls, the waterfront quay, Plas Mawr, the Royal Cambrian Academy and a myriad of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. "The bed in room 8 was very spongy. So much so that it was difficult to turn over without bouncing out of the bed! Poor night's sleep. Amenities...bathroom with the toilet so close to the basin you can rest your chin on it! Plenty of room to adjust! Poor value for money."

"From the moment we arrived to the moment we left our stay at the lansdowne was perfect. Comfortable room spotlessly clean with a few nice touches like shampoo shower gel and a well stocked hot drinks tray with biscuits and chocolates. Staff were extremely efficient and attentive. A goid choice at breakfast and all cooked well. Comfortable lounge to sit in and a bar if you wanted a drink. Can't fault this hotel and we will be booking again the next time we visit Llandudno."
