"I did enjoy access to the beach and the view was awesome. The only thing is no microwave, coffee maker, nor ice bucket was in the room. I had to go downstairs for an ice bucket & I noticed a microwave in the lobby with coffee maker. But my visit was very peaceful and great."

"We went fourteen hours without electric/air conditioning with no assist or communication from the host. I reached out when I realized that there was no electric around 8pm, and he sent me a screenshot showing it had been out since 2pm with a 10:45pm fix. It turned out to be a 4am fix, with zero update or help provided for a room without air conditioning in May in Florida. I believe that everyone staying there that night should be given a refund/discount, as none of us were paying to “camp.”"

"The rates were higher because it was during a music festival, which I don’t mind. But when I pay higher rates I expect to at least have a hotel stay that doesn’t involve the loss of electricity for over 12 hours. I was comped for 50% of the cost of one night’s stay even though I lost all the food I brought with me due to the fridge not working because of the loss of electricity, not to mention being without ac in Florida, and not even having a way to vent the room without having the door wide open since the only window doesn’t open. I can overlook things like the property not being pristine since a lot of the beachside hotels in the area are similar in their wear and tear, but I can’t overlook how not one person in the staff even acknowledged the power outage, and probably wouldn’t have offered any compensation had I not brought it up. The pool area was nice and matched the description in the pictures. "

"We booked a room back on December 28th. We were staying Thursday to Monday. While getting ready to leave for the day on Saturday at 11:44am the front desk called my phone to tell me we had less than 30 minutes to vacat the room as we needed to be moved to another room since the owner of the unit was coming to use it. I was beyond shocked. We were told our new room might not be ready for a while but they could hold our luggage how kind…now I wonder what if we did leave earlier that morning would we come back to find our stuff just packed for us? I’ve never stayed at a place that has made you move…I could see if the owner didn’t know since December 28th, but it was paid in full. I would never stay here again. Since we had to move we also missed our plans and had to wait to get a new room with groceries just getting hot. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Would have gotten 5 stars if the power wasn’t off for 15 hours Friday night. No explanation and no offer of any kind to compensate us for sleeping in the heat. They should get three stars, but I’m being nice."

"This place is awful. I travel to Daytona every year and definitely won’t stay at this hotel again. I had to change rooms twice because the first one had a broken toilet and the second was missing the security latch on the door. The room I wound up in had musty and didn’t feel very clean. The towels were dirty and when I moved the nightstand to plug in my charger I found a smoked cigarette under it. The room was supposed to be nonsmoking and I have asthma. There are spots on the walls, the curtains were stained and filthy, the AC needs to be cleaned, and the fan in the bathroom was caked with dust. The door had a chunk missing, some of the furniture had clearly been damaged, and the fridge had rust all over the outside of it. The people in the rooms around mine were yelling all hours of the day and night so I got no sleep at all in the 5 nights I was there. I would have tried another hotel but I was in town for a festival and everything was sold out or extremely overpriced seeing as I would have been booking last minute. There were also children running around everywhere unsupervised. My key card for the room also kept locking me out and had to be reset multiple times. I feel bad for the staff that work there. At least they were kind and as helpful as they could be. It’s unfortunate since this hotel is in a great location and close to so many things. Now I’m sick from being in this room and even missed the last day of the festival. I won’t be staying here again."
