"This hotel is in the middle of Concord historic district, so it’s a great location for sightseeing and walking around shopping or eating. It’s a very charming and historic old building, so the rooms/bathrooms are small and staircases are steep and narrow, and no elevator. "I will start by saying that we were able to check in early and the front desk gentleman was helpful and accommodating. I didn't expect much for the money but I was left feeling like I overpaid. This was a no frills property to start, but add to that the hand lotion and hair conditioner bottles were left empty and there was short hairs all over the bathroom floor which did not match us. "Breakfast was great for a quick continental breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. You may want to upgrade the carpeting and coffee table in the rooms. The staff were very helpful and kind. Location near Back Bay station can't be beat! "

"Do not stay here! I booked for the weekend because I was going to PAX East and this was a massive mistake. The reviews seemed fine but when we got there the room with filthy, the blankets had stains, the tv was hanging off the wall slanted, the shower wouldn’t fully shut off so it kept leaking, and the heat was on so high the room had to be 85 degrees it was terrible.
