"Authentieke Quinta maar wel wat gedateerd. Wat superfijn is was de shop en het fantastische personeel, maar het ontbreken van een airco op je kamer is in de zomer toch wel een dingetje."

After that my tea was waiting for me every morning. The hotel has lovely grounds with a pool. This was our second stay and will not be our last. "

"Snyggt inrett och nära till fina stränder. Trevligt bemötande vid ankomst men endast portugisiska talades. Ofräsch pool utan cirkulation. Vattnet var riktigt smutsigt när vi kom. Det höll de med om och tömde ut hela poolen och fyllde upp igen. Vilket innebar att vi inte kunde bada på en halv dag då det tog lång tid. Några gubbar stod och meckade med sina lantbruksmaskiner precis utanför sovrumsfönstret och såg även in till poolen som endast hade ett lågt staket så det blev inte så...

"We absolutely LOVE this place! Everything is top-notch! I booked this place at a last minute because a wildfire started nearby our previous hotel. We drove in the middle of night to get out of wildfire area and got this place at midnight..check in closed at 9pm but we explained our situation to the manager , and she let us stay. The next day morning, we wake up to find us in the midst of trees, vineyards with pool and breakfast. So peaceful and quiet compared with the rest of tourist towns. So...

"A lovely unique hotel with delightful service. We were staying there during the blackout and the staff put together food and brought in to all the rooms along with candles and battery lamps. The staff worked so hard to make us comfortable and kept us updated on the power outage. Their kindness was very much appreciated. Would stay there again and again. "

The breakfast was amazing and the pool was very clean and a nice place to be. The staff were really helpful , nothing was too much . We needed a break and we got it here. "Beautiful pastoral setting. Guest room was comfortable with great bed. Wonderful decor in the breakfast room upstairs, and the food was great. Hosts were very engaging, sharing info on the neighborhood and the Roman wine-making process, which is their award-winning specialty. Nearby winery restaurant Quinta da Quetzal was amazing!"
