"This Hotel was referred to me and I am very content with the service from all members of Staff. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of breakfast options! I really liked the seating arrangements in the breakfast/dining space. Hip deco and a very nice ambience seeping out from the Staff at the Bar to the check in, the Rooms, Gym even to the elevator. "Great location. Everywhere is very walkable. Wide range of shops and restaurants. The Gatehouse is unique and charming. The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. Great value for money. Beds comfortable. Room very clean. Overall a great experience and the city of Wells is a must-see"

"Can't beat location Very noisy at night - loud music outside rooms until 6am. Room hot so needed to keep window open but noise a problem Room small but otherwise good service "

"The hotel is very clean and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were that happy we booked in on our return journey from Devon. The hotel faces the Victoria Square Garden, with a short walk through the garden you’re into Clifton village. There’s restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also the bus stop is outside the hotel, where the No8 takes you into the city, and the return stop is also outside the hotel. I would recommend staying here ! "
