"This place was disgusting. There were so may gross stains on our walls and bathroom. Floor was so dirty, walked around for like two minutes after arriving an all of us had black feet. Comforter had tons of little black stains. We were desperate so we stayed that first night but only slept for 3 hours on the most uncomfortable beds before getting up for an event. We didn’t even come back for our second night because we were so disgusted- even our toddler kept saying”no hotel” "

"Pros: Check in staff was friendly. We checked in on a Wednesday around 9pm and checked out the next Thursday around 8:30 am. Hotel is new and is nice. Breakfast was decent- could have had more hot choices- but for a free hotel breakfast- it suffices. Cons: Lets talk about the train. After booking a non-refundable rate- I read up on some recent reviews and was made aware of the train that is VERY close to the back of the property. We were told by the check in staff that the train "doesn't make any noise- only vibrations". This is not true. The train is very loud and made multiple trips up and down the track during our 12 hour stay. If you need a good sleep- do not stay here. I will guess we heard the train at least 4 times overnight. This was my fault as I should have read the reviews before booking. Now let's discuss breakfast and the TV's all tuned to Fox News. Let's be real people- not all of us tune into this crap. It would have been nice to not have to listen to this junk while eating my bagel and drinking my coffee. Did I say anything? No- because I am not that person- but please- turn to the Weather Channel or HGTV. The room was clean- other than the sofa and ottoman. Lots of white residue? "

"The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff was outstanding. They are just taking over this hotel and they’re doing an excellent job. I had a slight problem trying to figure out the TV. They came over to my room immediately and helped me resolve it and I had a nice quiet day, and my service dog was allowed. Will definitely stay again on my way back down to Florida."

"Ronika, who checked us in was lovely, efficient with a nice disposition even though it was a pretty busy hour with check-ins. Our room was clean although there was an underlying odor. That is what happens with carpeting and allowing pets. The biggest issue for me was the scent being used throughout to apparently camouflage the animal scents. Once again, as in so many hotels, the lamp on the desk had a dead bulb. Not the best place for that. I wish it could be part of the room cleaning to just check each lamp. We were able to park right outside our window, and the parking lot is well lit. Breakfast was okay but seemed just a step behind the usual Hampton Inn breakfasts. Some grated cheese next to the watery scrambled eggs would be a big help. As a plus, the oranges were super sweet and juicy. I have to stress the fragrance is not helpful. I noticed it as I waited to check in and it actually burned my nose but hoped it was just used in the lobby. Unfortunately, I did not get much sleep because I could smell it all night in our own room far from the lobby. I realize that not everyone is as bothered by scents as I am, not everyone has physical reactions but for those who do I needed to make this review. Unfortunately, even though we will stop at this exit again, mainly because of a restaurant that we really liked, I will need to find a different hotel. Covering up other offensive odors with a perfume is not working."
