"This hotel offers excellent value for the price and was one of the best budget-friendly places we stayed during our Colorado trip. The location is convenient, and there was plenty of free parking available. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "Not recommended to stay here during summer months. The only airflow is from having windows open but there aren’t any screens on them so bugs come in. The house has lots of character but feels unattended to, lots of spider webs and spiders and the bathroom had hair all over the ground and shower. There was also an open area in the bathroom wall which allowed clear visibility from the upstairs looking down into the bathroom (shower entrance) area. "SMPKE DETECTOR WRAPPPED IN PLASTIC!!!! I would not recommend this hotel. The staff was nice but the room and breakfast were not! We tried to get the air conditioner to work but there was not setting for cool. The outside temperature was over 100 so our room was hot. I spoke with the front desk and she told me that I needed to turn the knob past the marking to set it to AC. The AC option should be clearly marked.
