"My family and I have stayed at the Powhatan resort multiple times and we have always enjoyed our vacation there . The staff is excellent and the ladies that checked us in were terrific. We are already planning our family vacation for next year at the resort."

"I never completed my stay because the property SOLD my room! I was skeptical as to whether I would stay here, but took the chance and booked a “Pay at the Property” room. I contacted them at 5pm telling them that I’d arrive around 30min. I was told that they tried to charge my card, but it was denied, and they tried to contact me, but no answer. I booked through Expedia, so I know this was not true because they DO NOT have that information to do so! It was also confirmed by a hotel representative when I called back AGAIN to inquire if my room had truly been canceled. There were no other rooms available in the area due to a basketball, which I was there to coach. I also made it a point to tell my organization to NEVER use this hotel for ANY future stays! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!"

"This was not what I was expecting. This was more like a large motel. Breakfast was not good..Ate breakfast on the first day and went out for breakfast the other 2 days. Super outdated, back entrance was always open; no security at all. The only plus is that it was 10 minutes away from Busch Gardens."

"It was terrible experience first of all the lady at the front desk was doing a favor on me letting me checkin was giving me rude response or felt like she just didn’t wanna be there at that moment no greetings no hospitality nothing and then she allotted me a room which wasn’t cleaned trash was full cups,cans thrown all over Bed wasn't cleaned had food leftovers on bed And it doesn’t ends here, then i went to front desk about to ask did she checked the room before letting me in she didn’t answered nothing not even a single word and saying sorry was too far! She said lemme go and find which room is clean and she opened two more room to check i mean really? She doesn’t know how to use the system or the system doesn’t have any update about rooms? Next thing she provided me another room and asked me go to the front desk and ask the another person on the desk to change the keys for the room Not even sorry for her behavior or providing me that nasty unclean used room and asking me to go myself and make a key for another room with being rude to me since i walked in the building Really this kind of we people pay for? Am attaching three images but there was more but Never going back!"
