"I stayed on the beachside property this time. No renovations on this side, opposed to Mia's buildings across the street. Tiny unit. Cramped bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Unit was clean inside."

"It is a new hotel that still smells new. Everything works and is clean throughout the property. The staff were nice and helpful. Comfortable beds and a better than expected breakfast. We will return. The parking is less than desirable. Limited street parking or $15 per day valet."

"The rooms were very clean! I even mop before I stay in a room and it was definitely cleaned prior to our arrival. The breakfast was pretty mid but it was still convenient. Even the outdoor bathrooms were very clean and maintained. The experience was great! It felt pretty private and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend."

"Room was very clean, comfortable bed, beachfront was awesome! My only issue were the walls are very thin so hope your neighbors are quiet. Mine were not! They talked and laughed very loud all evening long. I don't mind people having fun but these guests did not respect other neighbors. I had to call front desk twice. Not sure that helped for it went on well after 11 pm. I had to turn up TV just to drown out the noise. Besides that, a good stay. Restaurants and bars were not open in the...

"Lovely room and bathroom, but hotel is not in a location that you can walk to historic Beaufort. Our displeasure with hotel started with being greeted by a teenager wanting to park our car or moving it off site. Having been hiking beach locations up the NC coast, our belongings were not amenable for his service. When I went inside to register, neither clerk recognized me because they were watching a wedding party take pictures in the lobby. We decided then we would not partake in any meals...

"The room is spacious and clean. The facilities are well maintained and the staff are helpful. The hotel also locates at a very quiet location so I had a good sleep. The only disappointment is the breakfast doesn’t have much to choose. If I remember correctly it has less items then other Hampton I lived. Overall, a good place to stay for traveling Wilmington and Carolina Beach."

"Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!"

"No breakfast, but they charged an EXTRA "Resort Fee" of $15 per day and there was nothing that would classify as a resort except an unheated pool! This fee was charged in addition to what Expedia charged. Furthermore, they put a $100 hold on my credit card that is still there after 6 days!"

"This place is exceptional from customer service to the cleanliness of the rooms. I truly enjoyed my stay also there are mexican and sushi restaurants and a movie theater in walking distance."

"The room was clean, however it was small and hard to maneuver around. The commode was extremely low. It was a good size for toddlers but not for older adults. I would highly recommend higher ones. The motel is an older structure that has been remodeled.and is NOT in an ideal location. Be.aware of your surroundings when coming and going."
