I can assure you that while the carpet is dark (navy) it was not only vacuumed but recently shampooed in your room. Since we are an older building we pay close attention to those details - very, very sorry it felt unclean to you. And as far as the plumbing, again, we are an older building so yes, those issues do apply. We thank you again for staying with us and hope to see you again!

Our apologies for the slow checkout - we were unexpectedly busy that morning. Which is great for us, but does slow our service down a bit. Your 200 authorized deposit was released by us immediately (by 1pm). Individual banks do vary in their procedure.
