"The location is near Fred Meyer (fuel, shopping). The remodel turned out nicely. We did not have our dog this trip, but it is a good place when she travels with us. There was a daily bother with needing the card key re-programmed. I saw others having this problem. Luckily it was not raining when this occurred."

Make sure to fill out breakfast requests or they will be rude about it in the AM like " Are you really a guest"?.....tv wasn't hooked up to internet. Check in girl was friendly but a bit airheaded; maybe from driving from Portland before coming to work and tired? Was disappointed but not mad. They have rules posted everywhere to protect the property but property isn't up to par... Maybe it's a rough neighborhood?"

"Budget friendly, clean and quiet hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful and there were a few food options close by. The room was huge. There was no telephone in the room not that we needed one anyway. We spent one night passing through and it was perfect. We ate at Fern‘s Café and had a wonderful experience during our stay."

"The rooms showed there age but were kept up well. Clean and comfortable enough. A bit tight for those in wheelchairs. But, WOW, what a view. We just wanted to stay in the room and watch the waves! Who needs to shop! We booked through Expedia and did not get the room we ask for. Instead of 'Wheelchair access via an outside corridor' as shown in the listing, we got 17 outside steps. The staff was very helpful in getting us a different room for the wheelchair."

"Front desk manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the bright lights on the back of the building. The darkening shades were no match for those lights."

"The hot tub was nice and we were usually able to get some file in it alone. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the beach access, that was important to me when we were booking. 1 short flight of stairs onto the beach is about as good as it gets!"

"The highlight of my stay was making the mini waffles at breakfast. While the pool was just okay, the hot tub was honestly disgusting. It looked like someone had put soap in it, leaving the water incredibly murky and gross. To make matters worse, there was a strong mold smell everywhere and huge moldy spots all over the bathroom."

"It’s the nicest place to stay but it’s showing signs of wear & could use some care, upkeep & updating. The rooms smell of age & animals. There should be exclusive pet rooms only due to allergies, etc. Our staff member upon check in was wonderful & took care of us in moving us to a better smelling room."
