"The Motel part of the property is extra clean and well maintained. Can tell there has been very low use and high maintenance since being reno'd a few? years ago. The pub and the front end of the place is different story. Best described as "you better get on this before it goes too much further"... Great and helpful person working in the pub. Known for their burgers we are told. Frozen Keg patties it turns out. Nothing wrong with that, just not expected.... Arrive with the right expectations and...

"This property was flooded out 6 weeks ago and had to close operations. I heard this from a neighboring hotel. Hopefully I was not charged. If I was, I will be complaining."

"this motel is outdated...fixtures from 1950 as is decor. sheets worn with tears. bathroom disgusting...rusted drains, air vent filthy, questionable odor..carpets? This motel should not get an Expedia rating."

"Stayed at the Hunter Cabin. Interior was simple and true cabin style. Wifi wasn’t working but not a big deal the cell phone reception was great. Lots of spider webs, dead flies and mosquitos(especially in the windows) & had to deal with one dead mouse and one that was still alive to get out of the Cabin. Overall not bad and a nice adventure. Cleanliness just could be better! "

"The best place to be, when you like to relax and enjoy a beautiful lake. it is not a luxury resort no, you can come as you are. :-) The cuple is very friendly and help you with everything you need. We had a great time and would love to go back. "
