"This hotel is on the downhill slide. It definitely looks nice in pictures and appears nice at first, but when you get closer, everything is filthy. Bathroom was moldy, chairs at breakfast were dirty, elevator carpets are very gross. I asked for an extra blanket and they asked for my room number to get me out of the lobby, but never brought the blanket. Additionally, people were still waiting in the lobby at 9p.m. for their rooms to be ready. Check in is at 4pm but do not count on that."
"We always stay here when visiting Manhattan. Usually it’s a great value. However this weekend it was 3x its normal price. The TV in our room did not work and the air conditioner leaked all over the floor."
"The woman at the counter was able to help us out of a mix-up that we had. She was fabulous and was able to straighten things out so that everyone involved was happy. The room was perfect and comfortable. This is a great place to stay. Breakfast was very good also."
"This hotel was terrible. Super overpriced for the quality of rooms. Floors were dirty, bedding had stains, shower curtain was molded. Staff was disrespectful."
"Property was clean, room was clean, towels were very soft and water pressure in the shower was good.
TV didn't work. Everyone checking in was having trouble with the keys to the room working. We had trouble every time we used the electronic key. Breakfast was very limited, we didn't stay."
Comfort Inn & Suites Junction City - near Fort Riley
6/10 Okay
"Parking felt safe. Hotel and room was clean but definitely older, some worn areas in carpets and baseboards. Pillows were terrible, hard and lumpy. Very few towels in pool area"
"Always have stayed at the Bluemont. However, this time, was different. When I booked the reservation almost a year ago, breakfasts were complimentary. One of the reasons I liked staying there. Apparently the hotel has changed hands and they now charge $20 for breakfast. Also there is a charge for overnight parking of $17. Both of these would have been nice to know thru Expedia before the stay because that’s not what I reserved! But because it was Graduation weekend, room rates were ridiculous compared to any other time of year, and now having fees for everything makes it much less appealing. Good luck to Bluemont. We will be changing our next reservation there. "
