"The cottage and surroundings felt like you were at a resort, not in the middle of the city. Cute little deck to have your morning coffee on. We had everything we needed in a rental. However, the decor and room overall were a bit dated, and the bed was too soft for us. The location was very convenient with cafes, restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Staff were very nice, and check-in was easy."

"This hotel worked really well for my needs. The room was clean and well stocked. Having a washer & dryer was a big plus. Having a car when visiting Christchurch is a must. A lot of the things to visit are not close to each other. This hotel is on a major road not far from downtown. Getting around and parking is pretty straightforward. I would stay here again if ever in Christchurch."
