"Rooms were small but clean and had all the necessary items. Good AC, thankfully, as Orvieto was very hot. Breakfast (included) was simple but good. The staff were friendly, fast and helpful. Two items to note: 1) Hotel signage is very subtle. Believe your Apple Maps. Itโs there. 2) Parking is scarce. Plan to walk a bit. Good overall. Thanks!"

"Although it was hard to find and a trek to get to the hotel, if you are wanting a beautiful castle room, you must stay here! It was worth it! Pack light! The walk to the hotel is steep and there is no elevator in the hotel. The hotel restaurant is wonderful and convenient."

"This hotel was so much better in person than it looked online. The rooms were large and we had a balcony with outdoor seating. The staff were very nice and helpful, the air conditioning worked well which was appreciated as it was very hot while we were there. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The location was central to everything. Maybe not perfect for people with mobility issues, as there are some stairs to negotiate here and there, but that is true of many hotels in historic areas."

"The Hotel is Okay, definitely no worth of the name GRAND Hotel. There is nothing Grand about it. It is a decent place for a short stay. Very small rooms with Balcony. I will show you a picture or what they consider a balcony. Nice outside pool. The Staff was very nice. If you go to the Restaurant do not expect a traditional Italian food but tiny portions of something they have to explain in order for you to know what you are eating. No worth the money. Much better food just outside a 3-5 minutes walking."

"The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. Unfortunately there is no easy transportation from the top of the funicular to the hotel. It was a strain to walk up hill 200 meters on a narrow brick street lugging two large bags. Taxis are unreliable or just not available"

"Itโs difficult to say if it was a hotel issue or just being in Europe. Water pressure for shower was only available in the morning. And refrigerator was set really warm. Otherwise great staff and fantastic breakfast."
