The old satin machine-quilted bedcover had seen better days and its underside had rust stains. The mattress was old and somewhat lumpy. "Our stay was extraordinary. It was our third time in Assisi and we decided to explore this remodeled Palazzo. Centrally located in town and just a few minutes walking from the center plaza. You can walk to all the important sites, stores and restaurants from this property. The staff at the Palazzo treated us so nicely and were so attentive to our every need for our family of 8 (including a baby ) during our 5 day stay. "This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay.
