"This reasonable priced motel is a great choice if you’re spending a few days pre-cruise. It is just down the road from Anchorage off by itself near great hiking and convenient to the glaciers. The exterior is a bit dated, but our room had been nicely updated with all the standard expectations along with some charming touches. It is a virtual check in; however, the host was very responsive to email or text which made it super easy. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a very unique B&B that has a lot of history. The views from the deck and out of the main floor dining/lounge are beautiful. Our room was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The artwork around the the whole place is amazing and just added to the beauty of the property. "The day we checked in and as we almost made it to our room, the fire alarm went off. With luggage in hand we ran down the stairs and found the outdoor exit with another guest. We made our way to the front of the building and learned it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Anyway, fun times :-) The staff is wonderful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful with optoons to have omelets made the way you want, and pancakes too. Our room was clean and quite. Overall, great stay."
