"This place is amazing. Staff are pleasant, property and rooms are beautiful and clean. Our only issue is with the restaurant on the property. Not sure if it’s independently run, but the food was not good. Gnocchi had to be sent back because it was truly terrible, falling apart and tasted like raw flour. We changed it for what sounded like an eggplant parmesean or something similar from the “main course” section of the menu only for it to come as a cold plate of raw ingredients, essentially a...

"Castello Banfi is a lovely place to take a short retreat in beautiful and astonishingly quiet surroundings. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with luxurious linens. The pool was pleasantly warm considering relatively cool weather. The view is lovely. We enjoyed two excellent meals at the Taverna. The staff are gracious and welcoming."
