"We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on ground floor with own entrance. New, clean, and excellent location. There is no sitting room, but in the kitchen was aflatscreen tv, a satellite receiver, digital terrestrial receiver, and in the main bedroom was another flatscreen tv and digital terrestrial receiver. There are about 2 news channels in English, and the rest is slovenian, german, and french. But who cares, the outdoors are fantastic. One important point: Though it says on the Hotels.com...

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and comfortable, the courtyard was lovely with stunning views, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. "In the small print of the description of these apartments it states that a surcharge of 50 euros will be levied for cleaning costs. I find this unusual as cleaning is normally included in a set room price. If we had stayed at the House Neza for a week the cost spread over that period would be negligible. However we stayed for two nights and left the property in almost pristine condition. Therefore the surcharge seems excessive and in fact increased the substantial enough room price by 25 euros a...

"Beautiful, modern, and clean hotel- perfect access if you have a rental car and are touring the Soca Valley. Welcoming staff and delicious breakfast in the morning. Only small thing to be aware of is that the WIFI signal is very weak in the rooms and main area; the reliable spot for a good signal is the couch behind the reception desk, tho I’m sure the WIFI will be improved. Would return in a heartbeat!"

A Great Little Find!
"This is a wonderful little hotel in Kranjska Gora. My wife and I were traveling through Slovenia on vacation/holiday and looking to stay in the general area of Bled but avoid the crowds and potentially higher expense. This was a great find. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They provided abundant information and suggestions about the area. They gave us a room that was comfortable and had a good view. The breakfast was excellent - a broad buffet selection with additional kitchen-cooked items (eggs, etc.). It was delicious and very filling and satisfying. The hotel was quiet, clean and well-maintained. It appeared that ski season ended one or two weeks prior and the hotel was not crowded. We struck up friendly conversations with other guests and got additional perspectives for touring. As we were leaving to head south, we got the heads-up from the proprietors that the mountain pass that we intended to travel was closed because of a recent snowstorm. They gave us alternate suggestions plus a map with good directions. They went above and beyond. We HIGHLY recommend Garni Hotel Miklic. We REALLY enjoyed our stay. Thank you, proprietors for the hospitality!"
