Chinatown Hotels with Shuttle Services

Plenty of gorgeous historic boutique hotels in Georgetown but this one makes an enormous effort on service and, while not without some bumps, it shows. A few room quirks: surprisingly only 2 or 3 TV stations, with no English news. Yes, you are not here to watch TV but... AC is rather loud. The hotel is above Il Bacaro Italian restaurant--a very good place. Breakfast there (Il Bacaro, complimentary with hotel stay) offers many options, fresh and homemade.

This hotel was a surprise on so many levels. Loved the people who worked there and the vibe. The rooms were spectacular .... Huge space, 2 bathrooms, outdoor space, lots of thought given to detail. The restaurant was extraordinary. Breakfast was a la carte and delicious. Coffee was excellent. Great attention to detail. We didn't want to leave.

Edison gives you a warm welcoming experience at their heritage home- high attention to detail of service from the team, tastefully designed clean rooms, open concept pantry with access to coffee/drinks/snacks through the day. It's fitted with modern finishing with a hint of Peranakan architecture. But the most memorable, is not about the architecture because you can find that plentiful around George Town. It is the people that makes the difference, it felt that we were staying with friends-...

Golden experience at the Blue Mansion.

Very nice and comfortable to stay. All staffs are very efficient and helpful.

I spent a bank holiday weekend with a friend in this lovely hotel. The decor is extremely tasteful and welcoming. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff is discrete, professional, helpful and polite. Breakfast is served on a lovely covered terrace by the pool and they offer everything you need, from eggs, toasts, fruits to more local dishes such as nasi lemak. The location is very good and you we were able to walk eveywhere in Georgetown. There are plenty of little cafés and...

Well maintained hotel at the heart of GeorgeTown. Excellent location for connectivity to the mainland, via the ferries’ jetty, very close to historical sites (eg the Khoo Kongsi), local eateries and to the lively night scene. Staff are friendly and helpful (special shout out to Nick and Eline). The night staff during my stay could smile more or just offer a warm greeting. Breakfast menu is fair and could be improved with more items l(eg coffee in a pot) plus tastier cereal and...
