The location is so perfect. It is across the street from the train atation and tons of option for restaurants. Very easy to walk to everywhere. Hotel breakfast is very good. Room is very clean and bed is very comfortable. Will come back and stay.

The hotel room furniture and fittings looks abit old but the staff is polite and helpful. Location is ok, just opposite train station. Suitable for those planning to alishan in the early morning.

The hotel is just the opposite of the TRA station and bus station which makes it convenient to go around considering that there’s no metro in this town. The town is a scene to behold albeit it would be better to visit during autumn or spring unlike the period of my travel now at summer! Lol. The only - side is that the hotel is not flexible and insisted for me to pay NT600 per day for the additional guest (there were 3 of us traveling in this trip). I’ve stayed in Taipei, Taichung and Tainan as a group of 3 and none of the hotels charged extra for the additional pax. There’s very basic Chinese breakfast and toast if you can’t eat Chinese breakfast which started even earlier than indicated (6:30am-9:30am). I’ve not gone to Alishan, maybe next time if I visit Chiayi again.

Location is damn good 2-3 mins walk to train station n to alishan bus waiting area. 10-15 mins walking distance to night market. Service is good.. if u going to alishan u can put ur big luggage there for days they allow that. Overall hotel is good. Will stay again.

Overall is ok for only stay a night before we going to Alishan on the next morning. Just opposite the railway and bus station , super near and convenience to move around. Short fall is confused with the payment mode during check in and check out.

Nice view and excellent location
The hotel is just across the street from Chiayi Railway Train Station. This makes it very convenient to catch the Alishan Forest Rail. Wenhua Road market is 15 minutes walk away. The newest landmark, Song of Forest and Hinoki Village are just 20 minutes walk away. Breakfast is good, with variety of vegetarian dishes, congee, fried vermicelli, steam rice and buns. Cutlery is clean and overall the place is comfortable with a great view as the hotel rooms occupy levels 11 to 15.

just opp chia yi train station and only 10min walk to wenhua night market! Bed was abit hard but room was clean and nice! Check in is fast too!

Love the breakfast
Excellent location. Hotel is just across the street from Chiayi Train Railway Station. Staff are helpful. Room needs some upgrading but everything is in good working condition. Free breakfast starts at 6am of local vegetarian buffet spread, congee, steam buns and fried vermicelli. Overall satisfied for the price we paid.

Spacious and clean room with great view of the city through the room window. Convenient to walk through the night market, food stalls and train station. Across the street is the bus stop to take bus to Alishan. A short distance to the rear of Chiayi station can take free shuttle bus 7211 to high speed railway station.

Hotel was right opposite train station. Room considered pretty big considering the price paid and has all the basic necessities you need. Cons: no safety lock in room, walls quite thin - can hear next door talking, breakfast look unappetising, cold, and ran out pretty early? limited tv channels.

The building is old as are the rooms. There are no English TV stations, the Wi-fi didn't always work, and the breakfast only offered white toast and jam for Western offerings. The reception desk is on the 11th floor. On the positive side, the location is convenient, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom includes a small bathtub.

Buffet breakfast time is from 6am to 9:30am. The restaurant was very crowded everyday before 7:45am during our stay. It was a noisy environment and was almost chaotic with at least two tour groups coming in for breakfast at or about the same time. Coffee and tea were not available until after these groups had left. Visibly dirty tables were casually wiped "clean" by the staff but there still were food remains on them. It was about 8:15am and the restaurant was quiet with a few guests after the tour groups had gone. But then, besides the messy environment, there was not much that the restaurant could offer.  The almost empty food trays were not refilled. I saw a guest asking for refilling a tray that was almost empty.  In any case, there was a limited choice of food and the cooking was not good. Unbelievably, there was no hot water for showering for two out of the three nights we stayed for.  The receptionist told us that it was all because of the fact that a lot of guests were showering at the same time.  We were told that there would be a better chance to get hot water for showering before 7:30pm, when new tour groups would check in. The girl receptionist who checked us in was not quite polite and friendly.

At a Convenient Location
I just stayed one night. It was a good experience. The double room was great. The bathroom felt a little old. The lobby is interesting. The hotel is at the higher floors of the building it is in. The location is good, near the Chiayi train station. Note that station is not the HSR one. I got confused with that, so be aware. Overall it was a good experience. You should try.

It is across the road from Chiayi TRA station. But when you have a luggage, it's not so easy to walk & cross the road. The road is less than perfect for luggage wheels.

Convenient and clean
Close to rail and bus stations. Bus to Alishan mountain park stops right in front of hotel. Not a problem to get some food close by. Room is spacious with a great view of the city from the 12th floor. Bed is comfortable, slept well. Very quiet, road noice does not penetrate inside. If I happen to be in this town again, will stay in the same hotel.

Great stay!
I had a great stay in Yoyo hotel because the bed is big and comfortable. It is located opposite Chiayi train station which makes it super convenient to travel around. Also, they provide free and simple buffet-style breakfast every morning.
