"My dad, brother and I just spent 4 nights at guayaba inn and it was fantastic. Its 10 mins away from the main square and some of San Cristobal‘s main sights. The rooms surround a gorgeous garden with tropical flowers and a koi fish pond. Breakfast is included and although the options are limited, everything is delicious. The only issue we had was that we didn’t have hot water in our rooms but the manager Julio got this fixed promptly and offered us to do our laundry for free as compensation. 10...

"The hotel itself was not too bad but be aware there is a small bar and a nightclub directly across the small street that are both VERY, VERY loud until about 2am every night! We could feel the vibration of the music not to mention the sound of music and people all night long."

"Deluxe room, no hot water as boiler was turned off, banging water pipes, erratic lights, worn out threads showing towels, rock hard king bed. Friendly staff tried their best. Fireplace was needed, ask for more wood. A one and done property, never again, sorry. Fix the flickering lamps, erratic WiFi, provide towels not rags, put a pad on the bed, have staff turn on boiler for clients with reservations as they arrive at night."
