It's 3 stars hotel. Room, bed, towels, cleanliness are all 3 stars. All restaurants near by closed at 9 pm. Breakfast was good.

This is a new hotel that is absolutely fantastic. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and breakfast has lots of choices. The only problem we had was there were no English speaking channels on the TV, this is not normally a problem for us when we are travelling as we take an Amazon fire stick with us so we can access Netflix etc, however the Wi-Fi system would not let us use it, so quite frustrating. Maybe a Netflix App could be added to the TV so customers can use their own login. But other than that this hotel is fantastic.

Decent for short stay
Great location; short walk to clock tower and Night Bazaar with plenty of restaurants/ street food nearby. Breakfast is very limited. Coffee is very bad, can’t even drink it. Wi-Fi is very slow.

The property is promoted as luxurious. Not so. Yes, there is a magnificent lobby, yes, some of the staff do their best to be helpful but: My room, on the second floor, had no window. There was what looked like a window, but all windows on the street side of the lower floors are covered up by an add-on facade. The room was clean and the bed was good. However, the only light in the room was from a glaring overhead lamp. No soft lighting, no reading lamp -- either on or off. There is no desk at an appropriate height for computer use or writing. The security box is tiny, too small for even a small laptop (MS Surface) There is a spacious restaurant/coffee shop in the lobby. However, it is open only for breakfast. There is an expensive upscale restaurant next door which isn't bad, but is not appropriate or convenient for snacks or quick meals and which doesn't serve alcohol. The unfailingly polite staff suddenly lost all their language skills when I asked for a different room on an upper floor, preferably one with better lighting. Thank God I was only here for 3 miserable days. Chiang Rai, by the way, is lovely.

The staff are friendly, the location is good and the facilities are clean. However, the owner/manager is focused on savings over comfort, in my opinion. The individual floors are not airconditioned, so, going to and from the lift means dealing with hot conditions. Same with the rooms, the room is hot on arrival and takes time to cool, all electricity is turned on or off by the entrance card. You cannot even charge your device when you leave the room, all lights & power shuts off except to the fridge. Water pressure and heat was poor at most times, very feeble water pressure making hair washing impossible for my gf. The tap water was also yellow in color. I haven’t noticed this anywhere else in Chiang Rai. Maybe not the hotel’s fault, I don’t know.Wi-Fi also needed to constantly be reconnected. My opinion is the owner is too focused on saving money and on large tour groups of mainly Chinese tourists. Not good at breakfast times with tour groups, enough said.

Sann Hotel is family-friendly and the food is great! It is very accessible, right at the center of the city. This would be our "home" in Ciang Rai everytime we visit.

Overall stay was great! The staff was friendly, made check-in easy, and you can tell the hotel is well-maintained upon pulling-in. Our room was across a beautiful temple, so the view was nice. The room was large, bright, clean, and was decorated nicely. The location is pretty much the center of the city. Breakfast was really good! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The thai basil spaghetti noodles and lemongrass juice were unique and I couldn't get enough of. Regarding minor qualms, the shower water never got as warm as I prefer and the mattress was a bit firm. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

It was a perfect stay. It's a brand new hotel, very well furnished. The staff was very kind, especially during the breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel, you have nothing to doubt about.

A great hotel
This is a great hotel, well situated in the centre of town, meaning all the markets are in easy walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. It’s also well situated for travelling to all the other sites you might want to visit, such as the many temples. We hired a car for our stay so can’t comment on any day trips or providers. Driving around the city was easy. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful, even when it was busy. Breakfast was good and there was a good choice. I saw one review that complained about things running out - yes they do, but that’s only because they cook fresh in smaller batches, which means you nearly always get fresh hot food. Sometimes you might have to wait a few minutes for things to be replenished, but I’d much rather that than have food that had been sat out in a heating tray for hours. In fact my only slight grumble is that the mattress was a bit firm for me, but you get that in most hotels in Thailand. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent hotel in Chiang Rai.

Overall, my stay at Sann Hotel was very pleasant. I was only there one night on a business trip. The bed was comfortable. The room and common areas were very clean. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had a decent selection. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. However, the wifi was not working the entire night on any device I tried. The website where you need to login with your room info was showing as an invalid URL. I didn't bother the staff with this though, because I just used my mobile hotspot instead. The staff was extremely friendly and the check-in and check-out processes were efficient. I would gladly stay here again the next time I am in Chiang Rai

Excellent gotel
Position of hotel was good, spotlessly clean, extremely helpful staff. The only thing that let it down was that the breakfast could be better. This may be due to the fact that we were European. Eggs cooked to order would be better.
