Had trouble with key card, but ended up in a different room and it was blessedly quiet. I rarely am able to relax and sleep well at a hotel. Slept very well here.

The beds were very comfortable the room was very clean. I know they've had trouble with staff people don't want to work since covid. If you do get a room that's not to your satisfaction just ask for another room. Be kind and considerate when leaving a review.

Could have been better.

The room was adequate. We received no maid service and had to chase down a maid to get clean towels. The TV had a limited amount of channels and it had poor reception.

OK but not great stay

While not horrible it was not great either. It was dated. WiFi was really bad. There were no wash cloths or a hairdryer. The key card for the door was spotty. Overall ok. This biggest plus was the bed was comfortable.

10 min to the great smokies mountains NP, Oconaluftee visitor center, and close by there were elks. Hotel front staff was very friendly. Provided a breakfast brown bag every morning , which was a good idea during COVID. WiFi signal was not good, maybe because of the mountains area. My T-mobile cell phone was not working well too. During night, in the room, we can hear frogs snoring, which was a nature noice , so cute.

I have stayed at this hotel severe times in the pass here lately it have been getting worse and worse I had to change rooms three times this last time four the last four times I came it has been something but I know how it use to be that’s why I keep coming back but I don’t think I’ll stay here again

Horror inn

The frunt desk staff was very friendly the room it self was bad. Apparently the room was not cleaned from the last people who used it. There was a cup with water left in the coffee maker where someone was going to make coffee, I found long blond hairs in our bed ( my hair is black and short and my husband's is to). The mattress was horrible to sleep on, it felt as if you were sleeping on nothing but the springs. There was no stopper for the sink or the tub. The small refrigerator was barely cool. And there waa something that kept biting us i. The bed. Thank goodness it was not bed bugs.

I’d stay again

I was quite surprised when I was able to make a last minute reservation. Check in was fast, courteous, and answered any questions about the surrounding area. My markdown is only against the room…a bit stuffy. I got used to it in a few minutes.
