"I had to scurry and find a hotel in Seoul. I found Hotel the May and will definitely be back. Property is gorgeous, staff is amicable and helpful and the surrounding area has multiple restaurants. From Jamsil station Exit 5, walk till you see a signage says 7000 on one side, there will be a queue, and tell the driver you're going to Seorak Bus Terminal(1st Stop!) Try catch it at 1230pm (or even earlier for seats) to catch the shuttle bus(location to wait @ see 1st photo) to the village otherwise cabbing there is approx. 30,000 won. The bus ride approx. 1 hr, and wait for shuttle...

"Large quiet room with comfortable bed and nice continental breakfast that was perfect during a bike trip along the river! The picture of the front of the hotel is a bit misleading as that is the side entrance - the actual entrance is around the corner. The windows could use a cleaning so that the view of the river isn't shrouded in dust, but overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay."
