The welcome we received at Pontlands was so warm and friendly - including every member of the Team from front desk to restaurant and service. Our room was very comfortable and large. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you so much.

This way our second time staying at this hotel. We really enjoyed it. The staff are so lovely and will always go out of their way to help you. Rooms are spacious and quiet. The grounds are tranquil and well kept. Breakfast is always great. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. Can't fault it

Hard to fault this place. Lovely hotel, friendy, helpful staff and a lovely pool and spa area. Food and drink options are good and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again

Ok but could be improved.
The hotel is ok. The bathrooms are old and in need of refurbishment. The service is mediocre with the exception of one or two people, the other staff were not openly friendly or helpful. The food in the restaurant is ok but not exceptional and is overpriced and they automatically add 12.5% service charge. I have not know this as a resident in a hotel before.

A beautiful place to stay. So clean and spacious and very quiet. Every little detail thought of and we felt very special. Evening meal was lovely and a huge choice for breakfast. All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay

Lovely surroundings
This hotel is in a lovely area, quiet and safe. The room we were staying in was large with a comfortable bed, lovely bathroom It overlooked the gardens at the back where there was a marquee. We stayed 3nights. It was very welll cleaned everyday. Just be aware, when there are events taking place in the marquee or conference rooms, it will be noisy in rooms at the back. Just request a quieter room. The staff and management are all lovely and will go overboard to ensure you enjoy your stay.. We would recommend this hotel.

A lovely old hotel tucked out of the way
A lovely relaxing hotel where we have stayed before. Ideal for a long weekend. Has become a bit pricey ( as has everything these days!). I noticed a few small things which were not to my liking this time. Eg. No shower cap provided in bathroom, no choice of wholemeal bread, no choice of milk at breakfast (unless you ask), no alternative to butter provided for breakfast toast. Swimming pool was packed with non hotel residents could hardly get into the changing room so I gave it a miss. Still a lovely place but noticeably slipping a bit.

The location was very quiet and facilities were very good.Staff helpful and friendly and free breakfast was really good.Didn’t get to use the swimming pools but will definitely book again.

Amazing hotel, fantastic staff
Fantastic stay with a welcoming, clean and friendly environment. Stayed with our two year in tow and staff were very happy to make him feel involved and welcome. Highly recommend this to anyone.
