"I highly recommend it, I've been there for about 3 or 4 times, always very clean!"

"The Ambassador Inn was very clean, comfortable and well maintained facility. The king size room and bed were spacious and made it enjoyable to be able to spread out. Bathroom appeared recently renovated with modern fixtures, new tub and plenty of high pressured hot water in the shower. Outdoor pool was extremely clean without an over abundance of chlorine. Pool patio had plenty of longer chairs for relaxing after a nice swim. The entire ground are very well maintained, with picnic tables and a few charcoal grills. Lightening in the evening around the grounds made it feel safe. Breakfast offering were plentiful but need quicker refills as there were many guest having breakfast. Breakfast room was large with numerous tables in a large glass walled sunken room. Staff did their best in keeping the food area clean as well as the tables. Overall we had a wonderful three day stay that was reasonably priced for such a clean and comfortable place. The only negative we experienced were the walking, running noise in the late night and early morning from the guests in the second floor above our room. This was not the fault of the management but was just some inconsiderate people. We would definitely stay here again, in a second floor room!! "I had a wonderful stay here - can’t beat the location - right on Main Street in the heart of downtown Chatham. Room was fresh and clean, mattress was very soft, would have preferred a firmer one but slept fine. I did bring my own pillow which I left accidentally, the staff called me maybe 20 minutes after I checked out to tell me I left it, which I really appreciate. I wish the complimentary breakfast had a couple more warm food options - there were scrambled eggs and everything else was cold (fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, granola). It would have been nice to have bacon and/or sausage. Overall a great option if you want to be close to the shops! "

"The bed was uncomfortable. The sheets didn’t fit on the bed and had to ask for extra tissues and soaps. They did not replenish what we used."

"Like: beautiful outdoor pool area, clean indoor pool, excellent breakfast which was maintained and restocked all morning, landscaping, and staff was very nice. Dislike: gaps in door jam, door difficult to close, staff forgot cot on first night, building somewhat dated, loud generator at hotel next door."
