"This is a charming and elegant facility with a friendly, helpful proprietor who went out of his way to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. A couple with two to four children would feel like a royal family here. Low-to-the-floor beds and lack of adequate storage space were a bit awkward for two older ladies in what would be the children's room. All in all, a delightful experience."

"We really loved our stay at this hotel! The hotel is so historic and beautiful! Our room was clean, spacious, and had cold air conditioning! The housekeeping service was excellent. The front desk staff were so helpful to us and we appreciated them very much. We did not eat at the hotel but walked to several very good restaurants and cafes. "We had a lovely stay. Our room was great and the staff, especially the afternoon reception clerk was wonderful. Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. Highly recommend!"

"Fabulous! Luxurious hotel immaculately clean and with the most wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Great location right in the village. Lovely car park and grounds.
