What an amazing property. With pool views to die for and a gastronomy that was simply perfect we had an amazing 24 hour stay. Dont miss the domaine white wine either - a viognier/chardonnay combo that was delicious

Wonderful hotel

What a wonderful hotel! Service was professional, friendly and efficient. Our bedroom (42) was perfect for a two night stay and the bed was comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were top notch, although more choice on the dinner menu would be good if staying for longer. And the views/location are the icing on the cake.

Very good ! Staff and sites are unimaginably friendly and beautiful. Diner however is on the expensive side to be honest! Child friendly is debatable and a a somewhat negative experience with another guest trying to send us away from the main pool.

The Chateau is on the verge of being a major destination hotel A few small things in the rooms (robes, down pillows) and some substantial redecoration in the main rooms (lobby, bar and dining room) would advance that objective The dining room staff was thoughtful and sweet but sometimes confused. Overall however the staff is exceptional considering the remote location The setting is glorious and the facilities are high-end

We have been looking very much forward to this venue. After all this is a higher priced accommodation and so our expectations have been similarly high. The hotel is a blast! Very nice welcome at the reception and a spectacular room in the tower of the castle. Then we went for dinner and it starts: having an apperitive at the bar. Not so easy. We were waiting for 20min until someone recognized us. Ordered, and then 10min nothing. Someone else came and we had to reorder to wait another 15min for the drink. A good drink, no doubt. Then over to the dinner: it took the team 30min to present us the menus, another 25min for our first drink. So one hour in, we ask for a wine recommendation and the sommelier comes with wines stating we nevertheless don’t know the wines. Interesting, he could have tried us. Between the courses at least 30min waiting time. Arrogant further recommendations on other wines (e.g. I brought it you will like it and pouring - wait, I want to know what’s in my glass). Breakfast was the same. Annoyed and over stressed waiters. Conclusion: Hotel and rooms are amazing, anything around food and drinks, chaos. Not sure we are coming back here.

Presque parfait

L'établissement offre un cadre très agréable et le personnel est irréprochable. Toutefois, nous avons constaté une divergence entre la réservation et la prestation fournie. En effet, une chambre double deluxe a été réservée et facturée, alors que nous avons séjourné dans une chambre classique. Hormis ce point, l'endroit est excellent pour un séjour reposant.

Je tiens à exprimer toute ma joie d’avoir séjourné dans cet établissement. Dès mon arrivée jusqu’à mon départ, tout a été absolument parfait. Le personnel s’est montré d’une grande attention, toujours aimable, courtois et souriant, ce qui a largement contribué à rendre mon séjour des plus agréables. Mention spéciale pour le repas, qui était tout simplement fabuleux : une explosion de saveurs et un véritable plaisir pour les sens. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe pour cette qualité d’accueil et de service irréprochable. Je repars avec d’excellents souvenirs et l’envie de revenir très vite !

Bien, mais….

Très bel hôtel à l’environnement agréable. Belles chambres propres et bien équipées. Un seul bémol le bruit du chauffage qui nous a empêché de dormir. Excellent dîner au restaurant le Lavendin qui vaut le détour. Par contre petit déjeuner cher par rapport à ce que l’on nous propose. Nous reviendrons certainement pour le restaurant

De l'accueil le samedi, au départ le dimanche, nous avons rencontré des personnes très sympathiques à tous les échelons. Un cadre magnifique qui a sublimé notre séjour, reposant et gourmand. Le calme, la beauté des lieux, le confort des chambres et l'excellence de la cuisine, en passant par des soins (massages) de haute facture, une parenthèse enchantée avant la rentrée.
