Hotel berdekatan Chapelle Notre-Dame de l'Esperance

"All the staff and the welcome was seriously first class and went way beyond even relais and chateau standards where we usually choose to stay. Very genuine and impressive. Deborah at breakfast deserves a special mention. As the hotel is mainly round a beautiful courtyard it could be a little noisy at times. Very comfortable bed and super linens. bath towels a little small. Would absolutely recommend. we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return"

"Friendly and helpful host Cecile when organizing arrival outside of office hours. Very close to main sites and excellent dining options nearby"

"We were so extremely impressed by everything about this hotel. It was absolutely stunning, the room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was excellent, as was the location!"

"Everything went well. Situated nicely. Easy to get to the port and also the main shopping. Parking was close. Our room was as spacious as I had hoped. Staff was great upon arrival and pretty much didn't need them after that."

"Bien situé"

"The hotel did not have any desirable outdoor seating area. There was one table and chairs outback, but it was dirty. Our room was in the front of the hotel and was very noisy. I corresponded with a gentleman employee weeks before we arrived and he confirmed a dinner reservation for me, but when we arrived, we learned he had not done so."

"Ein nettes kleines Hotel sehr Stadtbahn gelegen. Ws hat alles gepasst."

"Excellent, personnel très sympathique, chambre avec vue sur l'océan et la place."

"The most welcoming people work at this hotel who made my stay truly unforgettable. Thank you! Overall, the location was perfect. The room I had was very cozy and comfortable."

"The hotel is very small (maybe 16 rooms) and right on the old port. You simply cannot beat the location. Check-in was a bit unusual, as the reception was not open for check-in until 3 pm. There is an option for an earlier check-in for a small fee but we arrived right at 3. There is no elevator and the initial stairs up to the reception area are steep. It may be prohibitive for people with mobility issues, but we found the stairs manageable. The room was large and very clean. Very minimalist,...

"Perfect location in the beautiful city of La Rochelle. Absolutely loved our stay and proximity to the centre. Some amazing restaurants close by and plenty of places to hire bikes to explore the area. 5* will definitely be back"

"The hotel is looking a bit tired. Air conditioning set to 70 and unable to change so room hot at night but bed very comfy. Breakfast was reasonable for a 3star hotel"

"Hôtel calme, personnel agréable Un gros point noir, le petit déjeuner buffet à 15,50€ très cher pour ce qui est proposé : peu de choix, yaourts périmés, aliments ne paraissant pas très frais et le dernier matin pas de pinces, on a dû se servir avec les doigts. Dommage"
