"Our room was up in the attic & extremely small with a tiny window. I complained & was given a slightly larger room with a bigger window. The bed was small which my partner & I found quite uncomfortable."

"The hotel is just perfect. The location is just amazing, our balcony had an amazing view over the beach and bay opposite. The outdoor pool is fab, and there's an indoor pool too. The spa is the best I've experienced. Amazing food, and even more amazing staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. It was particularly hot during our stay, so air-con in the room would have been beneficial. I can't wait to return."

"The hotel is in a Great location with stunning views of the sea and sun set. The staff where great and the food was excellent. Some storage area was very hard to access, the bathroom needs a redesign, It was so badly laid out that when you sat on the toilet you had to be VERY careful not to burn yourself on the VERY hot towel rail, ( I did once) Towel rail was to close in front of you. "The hotel is ideally situated up the hill from St Peter Port. The single room I had was clean and adequately equipped even if a little dated. The restaurant, bar and garden areas were more in keeping with the hotel and were clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was part buffet and part waiter service and I found there was a good choice of cooked breakfasts. I visited on the hottest days in June and the 3rd floor room was incredibly hot as there is no air-conditioning. There were no curtains...
