"Clean, quiet, comfortable and luxurious, the Sofitel proves that you get what you pay for. I only stayed one night but made the most of the time I had: the rooftop restaurant was gorgeous and all was delicious. Breakfast was stellar! And I am not even a breakfast person (other than travel days where my next meal is an unknown). Service is excellent from the moment they open your taxi door. "I have no clue how this hotel has a 9/10 rating. The hotel was so old and pretty worn out. The photos you see on the website is over photoshopped. I found a long hair in the bathroom floor and the shower walls were stained. "

"The hotel and the rooms were awesome. Very clean and well appointed. The pool and the pool bar were great. The beach experience was a negative experience. They changed €45 for two chairs and an umbrella. The service was horrible. The waiters on the beach never checked on us and the acted offended when we walked up to the bar for service. Awful, don’t waste your time on the beach area. Otherwise, the stay was excellent."

"After 2 weeks of touring Greece, we wanted a few days to relax and enjoy an island a short ferry ride from Athens. We chose Aegena and stayed at the Apollo hotel. We couldn't enjoy it more. Friendly and accommodating staff, ferry transfer to the hotel and easy, direct access to the ocean. The hotel is located on the quiet side of the island and a short taxi ride from Aegena town which is far more crowded. We would definitely return again."

"I had not stayed at the property for some years since it was the Westin. The upgrades were fantastic. Beautifully appointed rooms. The only complaint I have is my favorite restaurant Matsuhisa was closed both days of my stay for private events.. I ordered room service instead which was really disappointing. The food was really underwhelming. Overcooked."
