"This was my first time staying at LaFonda, and Iโve been visiting Taos since my childhood in the 1960โs, and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small but nicely appointed with comfortable beds and amenities. Baths well equipped and supplied. The lobby is a bit dingy and could use a refresh. Parking lot a bit rough, but convenient. Iโd certainly consider it the next time I need to travel to Taos."

"This place is super cute and kind of retro like going back in time, mid-century, modern decor, very well and thoughtfully maintained and the rooms are well appointed. Family owned and as a solo female traveler, I felt really safe here and comfortable. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious!"
