hotel, we were very comfortable and could definitely relax. It does raise concerns staying in a place this fancy when local community/villages don't benefit that much from tourism (they try sell little gimicy things that for the most part you don't want). Would be great to see a bit more benefit to the villages and community. "

There is a street of massage outlets on the way to the hotel, so you can have a late night massage. The hotel staff is unable to help book a transfer from Hanoi, so you have to do it yourself. Although it is rated 4 star, the facilities do not live up to expectations. I would rate it 3 star (international standards), but I it is quite a plush hotel by Vietnam standards. "
