wonderful stay at this hotel. Spacious valley view room, breakfast was average - nothing special for a 5 star hotel, have had better at a 4 star. The female staff at reception could have been friendlier and not so arrogant - need to train front desk/reception - have had better customer service at a 3 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the clouds

We really enjoyed our stay at Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel. We stayed at the Red Dao Suite which is beautiful overlooking the mountains in the clouds and very comfortable. Katie and the team were very kind and helpful.

The room was great, the staff was excellent. The other guests were terrible. Very loud and extremely inconsiderate late into the night. Probably little the hotel can do about this, but the other guests really ruined my experience.

The Place to be in Sapa!

A truly first class fantastic experience at this property. Excellent service from the front desk to the restaurants to the service staff all throughout. Extremely prim and proper and well trained in the art of service culture. Surprisingly, this is an independent hotel not under any franchise but it might as well be! The standards were that good! Just walking distance to the Sapa Station where you can start your journey up the mountain of fansipan via cable car. Great experience!

Check in early for a fee. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, but the AC does not go below 22C which made it uncomfortable for some of us. Restroom spacious. Nice balcony overlooking rice fields. The rooftop restaurant had okay selection of happy hour drinks and food. The fried spring rolls were excellent! Breakfast buffet had nice varietal selection. We ate out most days, but the we ate early dinner here before we headed out. The menu is the same as the rooftop bar and the food was actually delish. Our friend had the hamburger which she loved. Location is close to Moana - literally a 3 minute walk. It is also walkable into town to shop and eat and sight see. Would stay here again. Def recommend.

Regrettably, we only stayed one night when travelling to Sapa for a two day tour. The hotel is a perfect retreat for tired travellers. We should have stayed at least 4 days, if not a week or more to truly explore this most interesting region of Vietnam. My recommendation is to stay longer and make sure you book a valley view room, sit on the balcony and breathe…. So peaceful, just wonderful.

The hotel had panoramic views throughout, over the valley, mountains and rice fields. Good amenities, amazing staff and great food. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety and catered for the masses. Which was a downside, there were masses. A LOT of people stay at this hotel and it seemed like it was always busy with buses coming and going all day. There is a tourist spot next door that also tends to block the driveway area. The top bar was best to get a quiet drink, with most people using lounge bar. Shopping is approximately 30 minute walk up hill the whole way. I believe there may be shuttle buses, but we never saw any and would have likely been full within seconds anyhow. Overall, a very nice place to stay, great staff, amazing views.
