Hotel di Certaldo Alto

"Such a beautiful location and Alfred the owner/manager could not have been more helpful. We loved our stay and wish we could’ve heard him play some jazz. Food was top notch!!! Views to die for!!! Hits all the senses!!!! Breakfast and cappuccinos where wonderful also."

"Charming, quaint, fit the area. Comfortable bed. We came at night so it was a little difficult to find the door. Host is very helpful."

"The room was clean & staff at the desk was helpful with eating choices & travel options to other communities"

"This hotel was right in the main square, which was nice, and it was the only one of 5 that we stayed in on this trip that included breakfast, which was very nice, but the room felt dated. I mean, the town IS from the 13th century, so gees, what can I expect, but I expected the room to be a little nicer. "Beautiful! Would live there 12 months a year if I could."

"It was decent. The bed was relatively comfortable and it was in a good location."

"The staff are very helpful and kind."

"We quite enjoyed the heated pool and views. Thank you for having us."

"A very lovely hotel. The location is perfect, in the heart of the city. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff was helpful and very accommodating. I would stay there again."

"Old, unique hotel with a lot of stairs and a small, slow elevator. Our room was huge, but the laminate floor near the bathroom gave when we waled on it, felt like we might fall through. Location is great, between Santa Maria and the Duomo. Very easy to navigate from."

"I booked a room for two adults with 2 separated twins or a twin and double bed. We got a very small room with 2 twins pushed together, with a built in headboard and bedside tables. The beds were made up with double sized sheets and a double sized mattress cover and duvet. There was NO room to push the beds apart. We talked to staff and twin sized sheets were offered and brought to our room. No other room was offered at first. The bathroom had a wall that was next to the tub that had a hole and...

"Great Family run hotel with friendly staff. Perfectly located to explore Tuscany.. we visited Sienna, Certaldo, Volterra, Sam Gimignano and Livorno on the coast. There is a walkable (5mins) winery called Il Colombaio which I would highly recommended. The breakfast buffet was fabulous."
