"What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!! "

Staff at check-in located in nearby 'Central hotel' were friendly as was the housekeeping who needed to wake me up as I'd overslept (like I said the bed was comfortable). "We loved this hotel- room was spacious and very clean with lovely view over golf course. Nice bar and restaurant, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Easy parking. My only issue was the midgie insects around (like mosquitos) that seemed to find me several times in my room, and bit me all night. Such a small thing. My husband loved the gym and we had several swims and spas which is well run. Good location. "
