"This was a super cute little hotel connected to the restaurant below. The staff was super friendly. Very basic accommodation, nothing special, room is small, but satisfactory. Matched the pictures. Perfect for a solo traveler. I did not stay in the hotel room except to sleep."

"This is a beautiful, old, century hotel with authentic charm. The desk people (Sonia) were kind and helpful. Our room had a lovely view of the river. We could walk everywhere and really enjoyed what the city has to offer. Good value for our money. "

"Breakfast was excellent! Exceptional staff! Small pastry shop across the street had coffee available in the wee hours. A lot of small shops in the area were closed, so not a lot of tourist activity. Good walking shoes are a must for anywhere in Portugal! "
