Rooms felt very rundown, have to have a reservation to do absolutely anything (and if you get there past 2pm you’re out of luck- can’t rent kayaks or paddle or do any tours past then). "This was my first time staying at this hotel. When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk said the key controls the lights. I looked at him puzzled like what are you talking about and he said you gotta put your key in in order to turn on the light. That was not clear direction. "Great stay at the Retreat; good location close to stores, bars, restaurants & cafes on Citrus Ave. updated room with in room AC. Breakfast is basic but plenty of breakfast options in walking distance. Would return for sure!"
