"The property and surroundings were beautiful. The room was very nice and fit our family of four perfectly. We loved hearing the nature noise maker surrounding us and the nature hike was really fun too. I would recommend a 4x4 to get to the property, it is a good ways up a bumpy road."

"Great host! Comfortable cabins in the middle of the rainforest. Beautiful trails right behind the rooms. The host is super friendly and has great knowledge. It is very small and private. Recommended a 4x4 for the street to location. "

"This is a charming resort. Please don’t expect five star luxury but the facilities are very nice and the team extremely friendly. They cater for larger groups but that was not a problem. The area has some wonderful walks and wildlife - although unfortunately we did not see any sloths. "

"Tami Lodge is unique and beautiful. The hotel and cafe staff are friendly and welcoming. We had the best time and even got to play bingo with some of the people who work at the hotel at the community celebration. We had a wonderful and the views are incredible! "

"This hotel was absolutely gorgeous, on the most amazing grounds. Nestled in the heart of the rainforest with two trails to walk through. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and open 24/7. The service was brilliant and the room was beautiful and luxurious. "

"This is a gem of a property in a beautiful mountain setting. The hosts are a wonderful Costa Rican couple who go above and beyond to provide an excellent experience and food. We stayed at about 10 spots while exploring the country in March and Curuba Lodge was one of our favourites. We can't wait to return."

"Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. The knowledge that Jorge and Herman transferred to me made the stay enjoyable: on toucons, on fungi, on bees."

"Cedrela is nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica. It was easy to navigate there. The accommodations are clean, but the standout of Cedrela is the restaurant, Al Mercat. We had a fantastic meal and ate nearly everything on the menu (advice - go with at least 5 people so you can effectively share!). "
