"This lovely hotel just outside historic Gettysburg offers comfortable beds in good-sized rooms with a variety of amenities such as comfortable chairs around fireplaces, spacious areas for relaxing, tables for games, a pool, an in-house restaurant and a bar. It feels luxurious though moderately priced. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the area around the hotel is quiet and in the countryside. The only negatives were that the provided shampoo and conditioner were in hard-to-use bottles (suggestion: bring your own favorites) and the sink counter was uneven. These issues were reported to management. Other than those small distractions, our stay there was very enjoyable and relaxing, and we would stay there again. "

Dutch Wonderland Inn

"The room stay was okay (very bare bone and basic....bring blankets for the bed, water jugs for good drinking water, and healthy snacks). Indoor pool and hot tub was good. The outdoor pool looks fun but wasn't opened during our stay to experience it. The breakfast was not good! I recommend to eat out else where on route 30 for breakfast and dinner unless you just want to eat breakfast before dutch wonderland park but the food and drink quality is very poor for a very high price per person. The staff are nice. They will take care whatever you need (maintenance guy fix the AC unit when check in, staff bringing extra towels). Best part of the dutch wonderland inn is that you can walk from the inn to the dutch wonderland park and back!"

Motel 6 Lancaster, PA

"I visited this Motel6 about 2 years ago and it was a much nicer experience then than my stay this time. The bathtub had a ring around it. The rest of the room was ok and not much noise other than a dog that would go crazy if you made noise walking or opening the door during the waking hours. Other than that it was fine for a 2-night stay. I did ask to stay on the top floor (so I wouldn't have to hear people walking above me). One small tip would be to park near an entry door closest to your room if you're ok walking up stairs. I felt very safe and loved that there were lots of places to eat and to shop nearby. Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and also a Dunkin right across the street."

"Property was outdated and very dirty. Room floors were greasy and very noisy. Pool and hot tub area were somewhat clean but you had to go ask for towels at front desk. Breakfast was a joke. It said it had fruit and yogurt but you had to ask staff for it and they were reluctant to put it out. It says it a Wyndham property but it’s operated by a third party and that was evident. I have kids and it’s not the property fault, but the clientele that we experienced were oblivious to their kids splashing the adults in the hot tub, screaming in the hallways and absolutely no manners. Spend the money and stay elsewhere"
