"My main complaint is about the bathroom. The shower doors don’t slide both directions so you need to open one side and reach all the way in to turn on the shower which gets you wet. Second, there’s no outlets in the bathroom for a hairdryer or anything else. In the vanity area there is one outlet and if you need to iron, you have to stretch the cord across the area and block the entrance to the bathroom or you block the bathroom with the ironing board itself. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were nice and the room was clean."

"It’s a lovely hotel but a bit outdated and needs some upgrading. Nonetheless, it’s a beautiful property. Two issues overall. One, the food was absolutely horrible. Don’t even bother. Two and the worst issue that we ran into was the valet situation. There was only one valet at any given moment and they are constantly being asked to do other things so no one hardly ever answers the valet phone and when you do go down there sometimes you’re waiting just for someone to show up because they’re doing God knows what else in the hotel. Obviously not the valet fault but there has to be a better system. It’s understaffed many times throughout the day based on demand and the staff that is there is doing other things…"

"We really loved the staff at this hotel. They were so kind and helpful. Always greeted us with a smile. We even sat in the lobby and chatted with them when time allowed. Any problems we had stemmed from the amount of dogs staying there and the dog owners who either left dogs in their room while they went out leaving a bogus number with the staff or owners not controlling their dogs while in the hallway and one of them acting aggressive towards on of our party. I felt bad for the staff having to deal with this."

"Nice old historic hotel. Very convenient to historic sites and restaraunts. Things that could have been better: only one chair in the room. A shower that got water all over the floor. No breakfast, not even a cookie and no coffee in the room."
