"This is a great hotel. VERY clean. It's an older building with modern updates. That makes it kind of cool and funky. There's no pool or hot tub, but then again... it's Eureka. The people are great and the breakfast is very unique (and enjoyable)."

"Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ely by IHG is the best alternative, in my opinion, to The Prospector Casino right next door. Breakfast is filling and free coffee is available in the lobby 24/7 for the coffee lovers like me. The not so good was that the fridge in my room did not have a freezer, as a result, I had to eat the 3 frozen meals I brought with me all at once, otherwise they would have gone bad; the ice machine on my floor was not working, and the staff could be a tad friendlier. ...

The restaurant is exceptional with made from scratch meals with very reasonable prices. Breakfast special is outstanding. "

"If I could write a zero review I would. We had a horrible experience. Stayed for the night on our way to Arizona. Got up at 4 AM to take a shower and the shower did not work whatsoever so our family of four was not able take a shower. Bedding was dirty still. Front desk was rude and made no accommodation or even offer a discount. "
