"We found Lake Tiak when making last minute plans to visit our daughter in Starkville. We chose it because of the great price and a friend said it was nice, clean and safe. We were SO happy we found it. Check-in was so easy, we were early so we stopped and had an amazing burger in their restaurant, AMAZING, a wonderful peach margarita at the bar and had a fun visit with the nice guy tending the bar. "My daughter and I stayed at the Starkville Courtyard Marriott for a long college tour weekend. We were greeted with a clear MSU bag for the football game with waters, bookstore coupons, and treats. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and the hotel was beautiful and clean! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when in Starkville!"
