"Lovely hotel on the edge of Winterset with large and airy rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The constant supply of excellent coffee was great too. Easy parking. Thought it excellent value for money for a woman travelling alone!"

"The lobby area and public areas of the hotel have been beautifully restored in this historic Frank Lloyd Wright hotel. Difficult to find a meal on Sunday since the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday as were most places nearby. Fortunately the Thai Bistro was open 2 blocks away and was excellent. The room was generally comfortable but needs to have some simple amenities to make it more practical. There was no luggage rack making it difficult to retrieve items from luggage. I asked at the...
