"I booked the room for my husband & son who were going to the zoo Tues. morning. The car broke down, stranding them on the road. I contacted the hotel to see if we could get our fee waived due to circumstance (can provide proof of breakdown). They said only Expedia could waive fee. Expedia said it was up to hotel & they spoke to hotel & said I'd get an email. So far, the only email from Hampton is this. "How was your stay?" "The rooms were nice, we stayed in 1116 and we didn't see any staff our whole stay! Pet friendly with an area to take them potty. Didn't see a dumpster for trash but there are trash cans on the walks. Close to college Mall!!! Well definitely be staying again in the future!!"
